UNLESS you are sharing a service with a landlord or something that has the service and they have a D!! for you to use.I am not positive if the D11 is compatible with a Series2 or Series2 DT (Dual Tuner), I know each of them need to use a Serial Port usually found on the back side of the DVR/Receivers so that it can change channels on the receiver. The Serial port is a small port, it looks like it is made for headphone mini jacks. Are you sure it is not there? All of my DirecTV recievers and DirecTV Tivo units have them. I have use of them in case I need to fix something with the software using the BASH prompt (In case I cannot log into the DirecTivo via TELNET/FTP.If this is NOT the case then you can purchase a UPGRADED DirecTV Tivo and connect it to your coaxials, install the card from the D11, you may need to call DirecTV to let them know you are using a DirecTV Tivo instead of the Piece ! of S-_- D11. If you can hold out for a little while DirecTV and Tivo are working on some deal to fix the DirecTV HR20 boxes with Tivo supplying the software upgrades. You might be lucky and DirecTV might get smart and use the Tivo software for their other units. I rotate food every several months (among Orijen, Wellness Core, and Solid Gold Barking at the Moon). Why do I use Evo (and rotate)?1. We do agility. So it's particular important that my dog's food be quality. Innova Evo is a top-rated food at www.dogfoodanalysis.com and meets my understanding also of what a top food should be: high protein, high fat, no grains or cereals like corn.2. It's a small kibble size. I like to take some of my dog's daily serving (about 1/2 of it actually) and make him earn it through the day. I can honestly say that it does cost, but i think like 5 dollars a month, and you can get it put on two tv's it might not even cost weve had ours for like 2 years. I will say I don't watch much tv, because I don't hve time, but the DVR has made it so easy to watch those shows that I regretted missing, it holds, tons of stuff on it, we have one recording almost 24/7 and we rarely run outta space unless someone fogets to delete the already watched stuff.I love ours, and while its not TIVO its definately a good thing to have and functions the same, pause, rewind live tv. you can pause it at the beginning and skip thru commercials when your liek half thru it....Show more
