What financial aid options are there for studying abroad?

Joni Ziak: No one except the school or a private company would even consider giving you grants to study abroad. Your parents will have to pay for it or they will have to co-sign for you to take out a loan. US government loans/grants cannot be used anywhere except in the US and the money goes directly to the school.

Hyo Hardell: Are you American? if so you may get financial help to bypass by an American college's learn in another country application. i do no longer think of you need to use financial help while you're employing to the distant places college quickly.

Lyman Gauld: Donald is not correct. Usually, if you do a study abroad exchange through your college, you pay tuition to your home school, and then just pay your living expenses. You can use student loans to pay those. Many colleges have funds to give scholarships for study abroad. There is also the Fulbright Student Exchange program (Google Fulbright Scholarship and you'll find all the info), but! those are for very highly qualified students.I know many middle class students who have studied abroad.
