I'm about to sign into the Air Force, but i have braces on my teeth.?  

answers 0:So should i just not even sign up until they are off? cuz a lot of people say that u cant go to boot camp with braces on. Anyone just join up with braces or know someone with them?answers 1:Yes, I know a few people that enlisted with braces. They needed to be removed before they shipped to Boot Camp (AF Basic in your case) 'though...answers 2:If you are close to getting your braces off you can enlist under the delayed entry program and then ship as soon as they come off. But I'm pretty sure that you can't go through Basic with them on as you will not have full access to dental care while you are there. Talk to a recruiter to get the best info. If you have them off everything would be so much easier.answers 4:not sure of the rules in the airforce but in the army those who had them needed to get them removed prior to leaving for basic. Once at their active unit they were alowed to get them again.answers 5:Wait until the braces are off.
