Performing arts Boarding school in NYC?

answers1: NYC has no boarding faculties in any respect. era. little
ones who pick to flow to boarding college right here, leave the city
and go elsewhere. i don't comprehend why this question keeps stoning
up. Is there some television educate the position there's a boarding
college in NYC??? that is entire fiction. one of those college does no
longer be economically conceivable, by way of fee of area right here
in NYC. EDIT: obviously that one thumbs down is from the guy lower
than who printed about the music conservatory in Westchester. yet
Westchester isn't NYC!!! To be in NYC you need to be in between the 5
boroughs of NYC, that are: Brooklyn (Kings County) large apple (large
apple County) Queens (Queens County) The Bronx (Bronx County) Staten
Island (Richmond County) Westchester is Westchester COUNTY! it isn't
portion of NYC!
answers2: I don't know a single boarding school in NYC! Housing is so
expensive here, it would be prohibitively costly to try to run a
boarding school here! Even the colleges here have trouble providing
enough dorm space! <br>

There are several performing arts high schools here, but the best ones
tend to be public school, actually. The very best is Fiorello
Laguardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. However,
you must be a NYC resident to attend, and its VERY hard to get in!
Over 8,000 kids applied this past year and they only took less than
1,000. They offer courses in Dance, Drama, Vocal Music, Instrumental
Music, Technical Theater, and Visual Art. (My daughter was just
offered a spot in next year's freshman class in the Visual Art
studio.)
