cleaning jewelry with denture cleaner?

Madlyn Fallis: better not...why dont you try boiling water...its good...but becareful...just a few minutes

Iris Shawcroft: Although i'm a future dental student, i'm not sure how abrasive it would be on jewellery! What i do is line a bowl with kitchen foil, put in some bicarbonate soda, and add water. Drop in your jewllery, leave for 30mins, and clean with an old toothbrush. It works!! xx

Michelle Sohre: I have always cleaned mine with toothpaste and a toothbrush and there's never been a problem.

Antone Bual: i wouldn't risk it. denture cleaner has dissolving ingredients that remove plague..this could hurt the surface coat of you jewelry.

Lissette Semon: Probably not. It's meant for fake teeth, not jewelry. Buy an appropriate jewelry cleaner (whether it's for gold or silver) and use that- you don't want to ruin your jewelry by accident.
