Can you recommend a good cell phone plan / company for me.?
Dwight Siniard: It sounds like you just need a $59.99 family plan to be able to talk to each other. I'm going to avoid the calls to Canada part, since I don't know much about that.I'd recommend either Cingular or T-Mobile. They both have $59 family plans with unlimited mobile to mobile, meaning you two can talk to each other all you want whenever you want.T-Mobile gives you 700 minutes a month, while Cingular gives you 550 minutes a month. They both have unlimited nights (starting at 9 until 6 AM) and weekends.Cingular may have less minutes, but keep in mind that they have rollover (unused minutes transfer to the next month) and they have 60 million users, so chances are you'd be able to talk to more friends using them for free at anytime. So check with close friends and see what they have; chances are that you'd enjoy to be able to talk with them for free when you have nothing else to do and are not home. That may mean you have to look into Verizon and Sprint, too, depend! ing what they have.Otherwise, T-Mobile is usually the cheapest in everything, including add-ons....Show more
Melvin Nakama: If all your friends have Verizon Wireless, go with that. Every plan has free mobile to mobile included. If you are looking for something cost effective, i would recommend Cingular, which is now at&t.Can't really recommend a cell phone until i know what you want. Do you just want something that works? Want to use it for instant messaging like aim. Want to play music/videos?...Show more
Madlyn Fallis: My tmobile telephone develop into the most inexpensive for the most minutes. The reception develop right into a lot extra efficient contained in the city than my verizon, yet in small cities the verizon is extra efficient. T cellular develop into 40 a month 40 six with taxes for 600 minutes plus loose nights and weekends. Verizon now might want to be kinfolk plan, yet about the same per human being.
Charissa Bichsel: Stay away from spri! nt/nextel, as they are expensive and have horrible customer se! rvice. Both Cingular and T-Mobile have good coverage and a good price. With Cingular, you get rollover... which I really like. You can get a family plan wqith 2 phones and 550 minutes for $60/month with Cingular.I DEFINATELY recommend a family plan, as calls to each other are free... although most cell companies offer free mobile to moble anyway.Check coverage maps in your area, make sure you have coverage at home and at work. Also, check with wherever you or your husbend work... sometimes they have deals worked out where you get a service discount with cell companies. As far as cell phones themselves, you just need to decide if you want a flip or a bar-type phone... nothing else really matters, as you will just be using it for a phone.I like Samsung and LG phones... I am not too crazy about Motorola phones, but they are OK I guess.Cingular has a few phones that are free after rebate with a new plan....Show more
