why do some hair dyes require wet hair when applying and others dry hair?

answers1: I've never seen one that required wet hair. All the ones
I've ever used you had to start with dry hair. Interesting.
answers2: it depends on the hair dye , some are required ot use water
because they are dry others are already filled with water substances
and dont require wet hair!
