Does humanities go in the social science category?

answers1: No, it doesn't. There is some cross over in terms of
history...as a discipline it can be listed in both areas, but
generally falls in humanities. On Yahoo!Answers humanities comes in
the Arts and humanities category listing, just hit "Browse Categories"
and you will see it. Humanities topics go more toward "fine arts'
like music, writing, visual arts, philosophy etc. You can see that by
clicking on the topics in "Browse Categories" in both areas, Arts &
Humanities and Social Science.
