Moira Woodrow: A objection could be that the theory of solar cycles fit the data better than the explanation of global warming. I have noticed we have been way below normal lately but last year it was a little warmer than usual. It makes better s! ense to me that it would be the sun's nature cycles because in the past there has been times much warmer than this and times much colder than this. Not to mention there has been a great deal of fraud on the part of those who research and release data supporting global warming(climate gate, hockey stick graph, an inconvenient truth). Teodoro Lamond: Well the proof that global warming exists is ll around us. Any logical person could see it if they just thought about it. The summers are hotter and the winters are colder. And why is that? Because we no longer have the ozone layer there to protect us from the heat of the sun, andin return it is melting the polar ice caps which is sending cold water and air our way in the winter. Alonso Crehan: Good luck with t! hat. You are looking for "objections" to a scientific fact. ! 4th graders prove it every science fair. Increased levels of CO2 in the air has always increased global temperature. The level of CO2 is increased, and we know that the source is human activity. None of that can be scientifically questioned. The best you might do is note that there are a small contingent of climate scientists who believe the environment is less sensitive than the IPCC believes, because the earth magically adjusts -- the likely mechanism likely being increased clouds as the atmosphere warms. See DrRoySpencer.com for his blog. He believes "most" but not all the warming is natural and most of the warming is caused by changes to cloud. But why did the clouds start changing? He has no idea, just says it was "random". It makes no sense to me, but that the best you'll find in way of a competing theory proposed by a real climate scientists. There are no other such theories; the historic reasons for natural warming are not now at work (Milankovitch Cycles,! solar irradiance, solar activity)....Show more
