is proscan a reliable TV brand?

Andrew Sinatra: No they are not!They have problems with their power supplies and inverters! Inverters are part of the power supply that runs the backlights of LCD TV's. Common complaints with these TVs are; "TV not turning on/working"(power supply) and "TV has sound but no picture"(inverter)!The most reliable brand that i've seen is Panasonic. Shelley Stevens: proscan is lower end model. I would save a few more dollars and buy a 42-46" sony, samsung, sharp, or lg tv. alot better in color, contrast, style, etc etc.
