HTH : )
answers2: well i think it depends on one's personal preferences but a
lot of people have the same ideas, so it might be universal. but i
think beauty is advertised as thin and perfect in the media... so that
may contribute to it... i think its all about opinions.
answers3: Beauty is definitely universal in that every culture
recognizes that it (beauty) exists. As for what each culture
considers beautiful, that's another story. What's beautiful in our
culture may not be considered beautiful in other cultures. Take for
instance the Burmese neck rings that are used to elongate a woman's
neck to ridiculous and unhealthy proportions, but that is a coveted
symbol of beauty in their culture. Some cultures find heavy women
beautiful and thin women repugnant. If you're asking if there is one
concept of beauty that the whole world agrees on, the answer would be
no. It varies all over the world. You may be considered beautiful in
one part of the world and send people running away from you in
another.
answers4: Of course it is. Beauty comes from within and is the eye of
the beholder. The plainest person can excude a beautiful inner soul
and the most conceited, in their opinion good looking individual, can
be ugly on the inside and no amount of exterior good looks can take
away from that.
